Dennis Reynolds, founder and president of CRI, has more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. A native of the East Coast, Dennis was involved in Early American 18th Century restoration practices and participated in the restoration of many historic structures all along the northeastern seaboard, including a lighthouse conversion to private residence.

In 1981, he became certified in solar technology and architectural design for residential applications. Through extensive hands-on training and schooling, Dennis became proficient with passive and active solar systems as well as energy efficient building techniques, green building, and underground home construction.
In 1991, Dennis began work in California as a Commercial Project Manager. Projects he managed include the multi-million dollar San Mateo General Hospital renovation and new Nurses’ Wing expansion, Las Positas Community College Science Wing expansion and the USDA LAB renovations. In 1996, Dennis founded Construction Resources, Inc. and returned to his early passion for artisan woodworking and cabinetmaking. He has completed many corporate and private interiors including the GMAC/ Pacific Union Real Estate offices throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Dennis is convinced that a skilled communicator who is diligent at bringing his projects in on time and within budget can create a pleasant, easy renovation for his clients. “It doesn’t have to be a painful process,” he says. “We bring experience, intelligence, and a willingness to listen, to each project. By using our firm, our clients have discovered that they can have a successful renovation. That’s our goal every day.”
