Ms. Raissi is experienced in conservation transactions, and has advised land owners and non-profit conservation organizations in a number of transactions that involve conservation easements. Most notably, Ms. Raissi worked with the Tejon Ranch Co. in its agreement with five major environmental organizations to conserve 270,000 acres and to permit development on 30,000 acres in Los Angeles and Kern Counties, with primary responsibility for drafting the form of conservation easement to be used for the conserved lands.

Ms. Raissi is a member of the Firm's Renewable Energy and Climate Change practice group, and is knowledgeable about recent developments in the areas of renewable energy and climate change, including green building laws and policies. In addition, Ms. Raissi is experienced in representing solar energy companies in the acquisition of real property for solar power plant development and use. Recent engagements include the representation of a buyer of real property for solar use in New Mexico, representation of a buyer of real property for solar use in Kern County, California, and the development and drafting of option and purchase agreement forms for a major utility company to use in its planned acquisition of real property for solar power generation purposes.
