I attended McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California. While a student, I clerked at Planning and Conservation League, an environmental education and lobbying non-profit organization, and at the California Environmental Protection Agency for the Integrated Waste Management Board.

After law school, I spent a year as a post-graduate researcher at the John Muir Institute of the Environment at UC Davis, where I formulated new policy directions for the Putah-Cache Bioregion Project. Prior to law school, I had been employed as Director of Development Communications at UC Davis.

I am a graduate of the University of Washington (B.A., English and Anthropology) and was happy to return to Seattle and open my solo practice.
