Taggart Construction is a highly respected custom builder providing design/build services to residential and commercial customers. Since 1994, we have been constructing high performance, energy efficient, environment friendly and occupant healthy buildings. Our architect works with customers to create a home that incorporates "green" building practices based on the client's style and lifestyle. In addition to new construction, Taggart's portfolio includes renovations, kitchen remodels and historic restoration. Our woodworking shop provides handcrafted architectural millwork, cabinetry and custom-designed furniture.

In 2005 Taggart Construction designed and built the first home in United States to achieve LEED certification from the US Green Building Council.  LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the nationally accepted benchmark of the US Green Building Council for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. A second Taggart designed and built home has been designated Gold LEED Certified in 2007. Homes built by Taggart Construction are also Energy Star Rated and have achieved the highest performance levels available in the Energy Star Program. Energy Star is a national, voluntary program sponsored and developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that promotes energy-efficient products and homes.
