This program is designed to provide individual landowners and their
team of legal, financial, and real estate advisors
easy access to the necessary components to the land conservation process.
We will be researching and interviewing these providers and adding them to the
network so that every client will be able to choose from a list of multiple providers
local to their area. These providers will be incorporated as
recommendations into management plans that the PLN helps to develop.
This core group of preferred
providers includes: consultants; lawyers; estate planners: tax advisors;
investment advisers; certified appraisers; foresters; general contractors;
farm, ranch, and forest retailers; federal and state agency landowner relations
specialists; biologists; hydrologists; riparian specialists; fisheries
biologists; waste management specialists; septic companies; and many other
sources of information and skills necessary to assist a landowner with
management of his or her property and real estate transactions and financial
and estate planning. Visitors will be able to locate them
geographically by searching for them in our resource database. Where possible
sufficient numbers of providers will be identified such that every client will
be able to choose between multiple providers within their zip code or adjacent
zip codes.
